Dear Mr Johnston (sic)
Thanks very much for your letter which I have just received as I'd been away for a few weeks. I'd already heard a lot of good things about your Gallery from Margaret Olley, Jean Bellette & others & was going to get in touch with you when I had enough work on hand. I will send you a batch of work soon -not enough for a show, but at least enough for occasional mixed shows etc, & by September should be able to send enough for a show. You'll see what sort of work I am doing by the parcel I'll send off in a few days, & let me know how many would be required for a one-man show.
